This Club was formed in 1932 in order that retired Railway Employees could keep in touch with their former workmates on a social basis, and it has met regularly ever since. Membership is open to all departments of the Railway System in South Australia, S.A.R., A.N. and STA(Rail). Also excepted retired employees of GSR. Associate membership is offered to retired members of other Australian Rail Systems.

We meet fortnightly in Pilgrim Hall, 12 Flinder street, Adelaide, at 2.00 pm. We provide a program of speakers on a variety of subjects and organise regular day tours. We also have a yearly extended tour of about one week. A full list of scheduled meetings is on the bottom of this page under MEETING PROGAMA Honor roll showing all the past and present officers of the club can be seen in the main concourse of the Adelaide Railway station adjacent the stairs leading to the Casino.
